ETS’ Twin-Turbo C8 Corvette Record: Calibration Context From Our Dyno
The C8 Corvette platform has proven to be an incredible foundation for high-output builds when the right hardware, data, and calibration come together. In early 2024, Hot Rod covered a record-setting twin-turbo C8 Corvette built and campaigned by Extreme Turbo Systems (ETS).
To be clear: ETS deserves the credit for engineering and building the car, developing the twin-turbo system, and pushing the platform on the track. Our role at Kaizen Speed was supportive and focused on the calibration and dyno-side work that help the team validate results, and move forward with confidence.

Our dyno session: a few weeks before the record
A few weeks before the record was broken, the same record-chasing C8 was on our dyno. That session captured what was, at the time (late 2023), the highest horsepower figure we’d seen for a C8 Corvette on a chassis dyno. If you want the full context, you can watch the video here:
Collaboration over headlines
We’re grateful to work alongside teams like ETS who push the industry forward. Our goal is to help builders and owners get clearer answers from their data—whether that means confirming a combination is healthy, refining how it delivers power, or supporting the next step in development.
If you’re building a C8 (or planning one) and want a tuning partner with real experience, who treats the platform like an engineering problem, not a guessing game, we’re happy to talk.
