KAIZENSPEED is a family of friends passionately dedicated to automotive performance. We live and breathe every minute of our lives to make things go fast, and work hard to meet challenges on a daily basis. We will make whatever sacrifices it takes to perform for our customers and make sure you feel well-served!

Philosophy of KAI'ZEN: KAIZEN is a Japanese philosophy of continuous improvement. Simply put, it means that we will ALWAYS strive to achieve higher goals and improve our methods.

Reid Lunde (Owner, Tuner, Engine Builder, and Manager of Operations) has been interested in going fast and building things from as far back as he can remember. He started tinkering with engines at age 16 and began working in the automotive performance industry at age 19. He has college level automotive experience, is an ASE certified Master Technician, and has completed EFI University's EFI 101 and EFI Advanced fuel injection tuning courses. No one in the area has more experience with the combination of engine swaps, custom turbo setups, and import engine building. His dedication is unrivaled, 12 hour days and late nights are commonplace, ensuring more times than not, that you WILL make it to that race!

Nick Windom (Tuner, Engine Assembly, and Service Consultant) has operated CNC mills and lathes, worked in quality control in the machining industry and served as parts manager for an import performance shop. Recently he has been involved in our engine building program, offering his experience in quality control to make sure tight tolerances are held. Nick is lead Honda engine swap guru and knows just about everything there is to know about Honda engine swaps. He even memorizes wire colors in wiring harnesses; he's a walking dictionary of information! His love of driving and passion for cars ensures he will give 110% without question.

John Muenks (Principal Welder, Parts Production) has been with KAIZENSPEED from the beginning. John has served as our welder for over four years and has been welding professionally for more than thirteen years. He has over fifteen welding certifications including carbon steel, stainless steel and tig pipe welding. He has welded for the Department of Defense, nuclear power industry, and the bicycle, motorcycle, and performance automotive aftermarket. With his CAD design, machining and fabrication experience he can do just about anything.

Dustin "Dusty" Smith (Technician) has worked as an auto body tech, and automotive technician since he was 19. He is currently learning how KAIZENSPEED operates including the ins and outs of the industry. He is dedicated to exceeding expectations and meeting the challenging demands an employee of KAIZENSPEED must meet.
